Diana Boncheva Gooley

Diana Gooley is Advisory Board Member at soilnet.ai. 

With over 15 years of experience building impactful partnerships and programs, Diana Boncheva Gooley has become a leader in driving financial inclusion and innovation in the digital economy. As Senior Advisor for Digital Finance at USAID, Diana leads transformative initiatives like the Women in the Digital Economy Initiative, a White House Presidential project that has raised over $1B to close the gender digital divide. She also oversees the $83M Women in the Digital Economy Fund, collaborating with partners like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to improve digital access.

Before joining USAID, Diana worked as a Strategic Advisor for Digital Financial Services at Women’s World Banking, where she built partnerships across Africa and Asia to create innovative solutions in payments, loans, and financial inclusion. Her career has also included leading roles at Mondato LLC and Paythru Ltd, where she managed international projects and helped launch cutting-edge mobile payment solutions.

Diana’s academic background includes a Master’s in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s in Economics and International Relations from Sweet Briar College. Fluent in multiple languages, she brings a global perspective to her work.

Passionate about driving equity in the digital economy, Diana combines thought leadership with hands-on experience, continuously championing innovative solutions to make a real-world impact.
